COMPETITION REGULATIONS
Youth European Weightlifting Championships will be held according to the EWF Rules, between 21-28 August 2011.
Arrival of delegations: 21.08.2011
Departure of delegations: 28.08.2011
There is a possibility to come earlier; the Organising Committee will help to arrange accommodation.
COMPETITION AND TRAINING VENUE
The competitions and training will be held in the Sports Hall CLKS "Mazovia", Ciechanów
ul. Kraszewskiego 8 , ca. 100 km from Warsaw.
ACCOMMODATION
All teams and officials will be accommodated in the three stars hotels:
Hotel Olimpijski - Ciechanów ul. 17 Stycznia 60A
Hotel Baron - Ciechanów ul. Śląska 11
Hotel Zacisze - Ciechanów ul. Mikołajczyka 8a
Hotel Zagłoba - Ciechanów ul. Niechocka 6
Hotel Korona - Ciechanów, ul. Sienkiewicza 7a
Dom Studencki - Ciechanów, ul. Narutowicza 4a
ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE
Only National Federations/Associations affiliated to the European Weightlifting Federation are eligible to participate in the Youth European Weightlifting Championships.
Athletes must be born on or after January 1st, 1994.
ENTRIES
Preliminary Entry Forms must be received by the Organising Committee before
15.06.2011.
Final Entry Forms must be received by the Organising Committee before 7.08.2011.
Press accreditation forms should be sent by 15.07.2011 .
The National Federations are kindly requested to forward the Press Accreditation Forms
to the journalists interested.
All above mentioned documents you will receive in due time.
FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
The participants will have to pay a sum of € 70,00 per person/day in a double room
and € 80,00 per person/day in a single room. These rates include accommodation
and full board.
Entry Fee of € 150,00/person has to be paid according to the EWF rules.
EQUIPMENT
ELEIKO barbells will be used.
DOPING CONTROL
The doping controls will be carried out according to the IWF Anti-Doping Policy.
FLAGS and ANTHEMS
Each participating delegation is kindly requested to bring 2 National Flags (100 x 150 cm) and a tape or CD with its National Anthem.
The Organising Committee will collect them upon arrival from each delegation.
ENTRY VISAS TO POLAND
All participants should contact the respective Polish Embassy in their country and find out
if visa is required. All the participants needing visa will have to apply for it at the Polish Embassy in their own countries. A complete list of names with passport data
and fax number/mailing address should be sent to the OC for the issuance of invitation letters.
In case of difficulties, please contact the Polish Weightlifting Federation.
INSURANCE
According to the EWF By-Laws the National Federations must undertake full moral
and financial responsibility for their delegates regarding their health and in case of accidents and damages.
PRIZES
Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded for the first, second and the third places, respectively in the two lifts and in the total.
The six best teams (men and women) will receive trophies.
Each participant will receive the Youth European Championships Diploma.
TRANSPORTATION
The Organizing Committee will provide transportation by bus from the Airport and Railway Station in Warsaw and Ciechanów and between hotels and training and competition venue.
Cost of transport 25 € per person.
